AnthropoSEAne H CO is in response to my growing concern for our ocean, the health of which is integral to maintaining a balance that supports all life on Earth. Referred to as ‘climate change’s evil twin’, ocean acidification remains, for the time being, on the fringe of the environmental discourse.
Through my interpretation of the scientific evidence I am attempting to bring out of the shadows and make tangible, what is an evolving and abstract environmental issue.
With a discord between initial aesthetic and the subsequent environmental message, my aim is to provoke an emotional response in the viewer, and for these images to be seen by people who can affect change to reduce ocean acidification.

Antarctica is not merely a place; it's a texture, a silent orchestra playing a deafeningly loud symphony. It is an overwhelming emotion, a profound connection to the Earth. It is an unfathomable scale that invites us to explore the depths of ourselves and connect intimately with the world around us. It is a feeling. It is indescribable. It is South.
